Las Sunny Girls se formaron en 1967 por Maud Lindqvist, miembro de las Plommons.

In México City they performed at The Alameda Hotel (1968-69) and Camino Real (1970). Sunday evenings they appeared on TV-show «Siempre en Domingo» with Raúl Velasco. The program was unique with 420 million viewers all over Latinamerica, The United States, Europe and Asia.The original Sunny Girls toured until 1972.
